Tata DOCOMO slashes 2G and 3G data prices by 90%

Tata DOCOMO has has reduced its 2G and 3G data volume based charging (VBC) tariffs by 90 percent. The reduced rates will be applicable from 1st July 2013 for its existing as well as new prepay GSM customers across the country. The strategic move will accelerate mobile internet adoption and usage.
·  Rates reduced from 10 paise per 10 kb to 1 paise per 10 kb
·  Offer applicable once customers exhaust free data or validity on their 2G or 3G Data packs
·  Valid for all prepay GSM customers across India
The revised tariffs will be applicable on 3G data pack – RC 255 (1GB for 30 days) and 2G data packs – RC 126 (1.5GB for 30 days), RC 149 (2GB for 30 days) and RC 249 (3GB for 60 days). Once customers exhaust their free 2G or 3G data quantum, they can continue to access high speed mobile internet by paying only1 paise per 10 kb instead of the earlier 10 paise per 10 kb data; thereby enjoying a 90 percent discount. This proposition will be applicable even while customers are roaming on Tata DOCOMO GSM network nationally.

Today Tata Docomo revised Prepaid Tariff Plans As Per TRAI’s NewRegulation



After BSNL now Tata Docomo today has revised its all prepaid tariff plans and STVs in all telecom circle as per new TRAI’s regulations and guidelines. Revised tariff plans will be effective from today itself.

As per TRAI’s 2012 regulations & guidelines mobile operators have to offer tariff plans to customers which are categorized under
1.Plan Voucher. 2. Top Up Voucher. 3.Special Tariff Vouchers.

Tata Docomo implemented all these regulations and revised all their tariff plans of under GSM and CDMA telephony. Revised tariff plans of all telecom circle is now available on official website and customer can download it in pdf format.

Tata Docomo not only revised its Top-up voucher but STVs also, Just like their popular voice plan of 1p/2 sec, before revision 1p/2 sec tariff plan for 30 days validity was priced at Rs. 48 in Mumbai circle, now same plan will be available at Rs. 32. Similarly same plan of 1p/2sec with 90 days validity now available at Rs. 69 which was Rs. 89 before. Full Talktime vouchers are also revised, now there is no any validity period restrictions on Fulltalktime vouchers, all Fulltalktime vouchers can be utilized until main validity of SIM card i.e lifetime. Fulltalktime vouchers now started from Rs. 125 to Rs. 2010 with lifetime validity.

Tata Docomo has also revised all Top-up voucher starting from Rs. 10 to Rs. 100 under which now customer will get more Talk value in same amount. There are no changes in GPRS tariff.

BSNL Launched Holi Special Offer for Prepaid Customers Extra Talk Time



Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) the pan-India 3G mobile service provider today launched “Holi Dhamaka” Offer for 2G and 3G Prepaid customers across India. This Holi subscribers can e-recharge with Rs. 100 or more then Rs 100 and they get full talktime value or more than 10% extra talktime value for all top-up valid up to 10th March 2012.

MRP : Rs. 1000 and above Will Get 10% extra talktime value

Tata Docomo 3G Tariff Plans


Tata DOCOMO, the GSM arm of Tata Teleservices Limited today announced that the Video Call and Data charges for its 3G mobile services (3G Life) in 9 telecom circles in India. Tata Docomo’s basic 3G Video Call charges will be 5p/second while the effective voice call cost will just 0.66 paisa per second (approx 40p/min with bundled offers).

The 3G Data plan for prepaid users starts from Rs. 350 valid for 30 Days while post-paid 3G Life Plan starts from Rs. 500. All the 3G Life services plan comes with bundled tariff that include data, Voice and Video calls.

For example with the monthly 3G Life Pack of Rs. 2000 the subscriber would get 5000 minutes for Voice / Video calls, along with High Speed Data usage of up to 2GB per month.

All purchases and recharges of Tata Docomo 3G services done before 31 December 2010 will get an additional 100 MB of free data per month for the first two months, as an invitation offer.

TTSL also announced High Speed Unlimited 3G Data Card Plan for Rs. 2,000 wherein subscriber would get 15 GB of data usage at a speed of 21.1 Mbps and beyond 15 GB would be free 3G with lower speed of 128 kbps.
